Dr. Lynn Witherspoon
On behalf of the entire NG Healthcare team, I am delighted to announce the return of Dr. Lynn Witherspoon as a delegate attendee at the Fall 2009 NG Healthcare Summit. Lynn is seen as a premier thought leader in the area of clinical informatics, and we look forward to his participation at the upcoming event.

Lynn served in an Informatics role or as CIO during much of his Ochsner career. He conceptualized and built a clinical repository in the mid-1980s and subsequently shepherded the design, development and deployment of Ochsner’s current EMR platform. He weathered hurricane Katrina and its aftermath at Ochsner’s main campus facility in New Orleans. Lynn is now System Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Ochsner Health System.
